milking process, ghee churning, okweshera/ taking cows to drink, visiting the local long horned Ankore cows, visiting a local traditional healer, coffee growing, honey harvesting, social activities e.g. wedding, volunteering for example teaching at a local primary school, painting, building, craft instruction, practicing traditional greetings, local beer brewing etc.
Preparing local cuisine e.g. eshabwe/ local mayonnaise, karo, bushera, amakamo/ local yogurt, coffee brewing/roasting, seeing orugyegye and activities related to it e.g. okwitira ebyanzi, preparing milk etc.
The activities done to promote this noble cause include:
Sports e.g. marathons, biking and soccer especially targeting the youth.
Sensitization about conservation of communities closest to or directly neighbouring the River such as Nyakahita, Kyamuguluma, Kyariwanshashura, Rwefunjo & Kyenjojo. Here we discourage poaching and educate the communities the dangers resulting from it. We encourage people to desist from or minimise encroaching on the river banks especially through farming activities.
